Phill's Diary - Burnley (a) 1-1 draw
Phill opens his diary to reflect on that last gasp 1-1 draw at Turf Moor
Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend the game due to work commitments, but I've seen the highlights and I'm glad that we left Turf Moor with a point. I listened to commentary and the first half was all Luton after Burnley's first chance. It appears we huffed and puffed without really creating much in the final third.
James Trafford will of course grab all the headline for being a human t-rex. The fact he came for that cross from Alfie shows he was looking for a foul, no way was he reaching it, and is directly running into an opponent a foul. He got what he deserved for all the time wasting up to that point.
Credit to Town for keeping going right to the end, and what an excellent leap from Morris, who must've wondered what just happened, as his marker stood still whilst Trafford meekly withered to the floor. Tears as he left the pitch because he knows he made a huge error.
A point away from home, given the circumstances, we'll take it, even though we all wish it was 3. Kaminski giving it to the home fans by the way, wonderful work. Cheers, Phill
